Nintendo announced that Capcom, Namco and Sega will be making a crossover/collaboration game for the 3DS, but just what the hell is it all about?
The website is peculiar and we haven't the foggiest as to what it could all mean.
Personally I think it'll be a fighting game that mixes some of the older characters from each companies stocks. The petri-dishes viewable on the website all seem to show something that resembles characters, and they've all been kept in cold storage, so who knows…
What are your thoughts on it all?

I'm still thinking it has something to do with the revival of the old franchises. A collorative fighter seems strange if it's a Nintendo excluse like it looks to be at the moment. Having another Super Smash Bros type game when they're making on themselves just isn't really clicking with me.

Another collaborative fighter doesn't fit into the whole "Nintendo exclusive" vibe we're getting from it at them moment. Sakurai has started working on Super Smash Bros for the 3DS and Wii U now, so I don't expect it to be something like that.
The franchise revivals are still my best bet so far.

Yeah I agree, I think it'll be a franchise revival rather than a crossover fighter, but it seems odd that they announce them all at the same time…
