Disney Infinity just only released a short time ago but already fans are anxious to see the next wave and when they will be arriving. Previously it was thought to arrive in October but recent news from InsideTheMagic says that it will be arriving sporadically throughout the next few months.
Starting with the Power Discs Toys R’ Us will continue to have exclusive Power Disc packs and will be having a Disney Infinity Power Disc Trade event on September 7th across the country. The Tron power disc will be available exclusively during the event. As for Wave 2 Power Discs, they will roll out November 26th.
Woody will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores starting October 1st and later distributed to other retailers. Buzz and Jesse will be released as apart of the Toys In Space play set on October 22nd. Jack Skellington will be a Gamestop exclusive, available there first on October 5th until being released at other retailers. He will not have a play set but will unlock ‘adventures’ in the game. Characters from the upcoming Frozen movie will be available in a double-pack with the two Power Discs associated with their world. Anna and Elsa will be available together by November 26th.
The rest of the wave 2 figures are set to be released by this holiday season with the exception of Sorcerer Mickey which is now looking at 2014. On a more interesting note, there was a Girl Power Pack which featured three female characters, Rapunzel, Violet and Vanelope but it had no price or release date.
