Watch Dogs Poster Reveals Multi-Platform Release

Last year Ubisoft unveiled Watch Dogs, a gritty open world technological espionage adventure, and it completely stole the show.

While we always expected it to be a next-generation game, claims of it being released for Xbox 360 and PS3 seemed a little unfathomable, but we all swallowed it.

Now though, Kotaku have spotted some posters for stores that reveal that Ubisoft’s title will release on “all home consoles”.

As mentioned, we already know it’s coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, but could we be getting it on Wii U too?

What’s even more mysterious is the quote used from G4 about it being a “truly next-gen game”. Ubisoft are deliberately hinting at something here.

Could we see Watch Dogs appear as a cross-generation release on both the Next Xbox and PlayStation 4 alongside a Xbox 360 and PS3 release?

Interestingly it’s set for a “Holiday 2013″ release, suggesting that we could see new consoles by the end of the year.

Perhaps we’ll find out during Sony’s showcase on the 2oth.
