Steam Hits Linux With a Sale

Valve have finally finished their Linux build of Steam, meaning it’s left beta and has now officially launched into the wonders of Linux.

As always, Steam is available to download for free and can be obtained through the Ubuntu Software Centre.

To celebrate the release of Linux Steam, Valve have discounted 50 games by up to 75 percent from now until Thursday, February 21st at 10am PST (6pm GMT).

Titles included in the sale include Serious Sam 3 BFE, Trine 2, Puddle, FTL: Faster Than Light, Half-Life, Counter Strike Source, Sword and Sorcery, Darwinia, Amnesia: The Dark Decent and a whole lot more.
