PS Vita Gets A Price Drop (In Japan)

February 18th, 2013

After a PS Vita focused event in Japan last night, it was announced that both the 3G and WiFi models of the slacking handheld will be receiving a price drop on the last day of the month. Both versions of the console will retail for an identical price of ¥19,980 (US$214) starting February 28. That’s a ¥10,000 drop from the 3G Vita‘s launch price.

Will a similar cut be introduced in other regions? Here’s hoping.
