Bethesda Hiring For Unknown Next-Gen Title

February 1st, 2013

Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 developer Bethesda Game Studios appears to be hiring programmers for an unannounced next-generation console title.

The news comes from a job posting on ZeniMax Media’s website (via. Polygon). The job site lists a position for a “Future Generation Console Progammer” and seeks “experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles.”

You’ll need to have five years of game development under your belt though, and you have to have shipped multiple titles and have “extensive experience” with both Sony and Microsoft’s formats.

It lists spending time with Bethesda Studios games and DirectX 11 experience as a bonus too.

It could be a new Fallout title, or it may well be another entry into the Elder Scrolls universe – after all, they do take time to make.

Bethesda also announced today the North American release date for the PS3 Skyrim expansions.
