Dead Island: Riptide is fast approaching and we cannot wait to get our hands on the hordes of the undead yet again. Today, Deep Silver have announced the release date along with more info on the special edition set to be released in limited quantities.

The special edition will come packed with a unique character skin, a pack of exclusive weapon mods, and a digital strategy map. Players are currently able to pre-order right now both editions. The box-art for all three platforms of the standard edition cover are below.

Dead Island: Riptide is set to release on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, & PC on April 23rd 2013 in North America and April 26th in Europe.
