It appears that Sony could be revealing their own AR glasses/goggles technology at this years TGS show in Japan.
A new video, spotted by VG247, has appeared on the Japanese Sony YouTube and shows off a white AR headset that looks very similar to the previous 3D goggle technology they were showing off in 2011 before they decided to pull the device.
Sony aren’t the only ones working on AR tech with the upcoming Oculus Rift and even Valve’s rumoured wearable computer and Google Glass could be moving down this route.
Obviously this could be a competitive space in the future, but who knows maybe the Oculus’ Kickstarter means it’ll dominate over these powerhouses.
