When the crude yet rigorously terrifying game, Slender: The Eight Pages, arrived as if from nowhere a few months back, it quickly become something of an internet phenemenon. A way for friends to scare their friends and then have their friends do that same just to compare their traumatic reaction to their own and say “It wasn’t that bad” to get a feeling of superiority. Sometime soon we’ll be able to do that again, only with a better visual representation of Slenderman himself in our faces as Slender: The Eight Pages gets set for a full production sequel.
It’s always nice to hear indie titles gaining the hard worker the chance to make it a like a professional, and Slender deisgner, Mark Hadley, is the next promising individual to get that chance.
Mark has begun work on a sequel known as Slender: The Arrival; a game he promisied will be ”even more terrifying” than the original, with “more levels, improved visuals, and an engaging storyline.” but suggests the game will not be free, unlike it’s predecessor.
Being developed with Blue Isle Studios, they promise to reveal more details about the PC scarefest soon.
