With nearly two more months left until Persona 4: Golden finally releases state side. ATLUS is eager to show us more screenshots. This time the screenshots will be showcasing social links and status upgrades. Those who haven’t played the original Persona 4, here is a brief overview.

The social link system allows players to choose how and with whom they what to spend their time with. While spending more time with them, you strengthen the bonds, which will help players during battle and gives bonus experience for creating personas. Status upgrades basically increases during the course of the game like knowledge, courage, and such, in which can help the player overcome social obstacles.

These are just a few of the mechanics that Persona 4: Golden has to offer. Persona 4: Golden will be releasing November 20, 2012 in North America, retailing at $39.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the solid golden premium edition.
