During Nintendo’s presentation for the release date of the Wii U it was revealed that 9 games, three of which are downloadable, will be gracing the console on launch.

EA’s FIFA 13 and the highly anticipated Mass Effect 3: Special Edition – that features an interactive comic opening and scenes cut from the original - will be arriving on November 30th in Europe, alongside Nintendo’s offering New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land on day one while Ubisoft roll out Rayman Legends and Zombie U to win fans over.

Downloadable titles that you can snap up will be Nano Assault Neo - which looks a little bit like Super Stardust HD - Toki Tori 2 and Trine 2 Directors Cut which will feature an entirely new level.

What’s most interesting is what’s heading to the Wii U inside it’s launch window and the coming months.

Obviously you can expect previously announced titles such as Assassin’s Creed III, Darksiders 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, but the Nintendo event today showed off some great games coming too.

Not only does Lego City Undercover look like an incredible open world GTA Lego game but European viewers got to take a first look into Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate which is the first HD Monster Hunter title and will work with cross features to the 3DS.

The show stealer, and heart stopper for many watching, was the announcement of Bayonetta 2 which is exclusive to the Wii U – clearly showing Platinum Games’ commitment to the console.

Annoyingly Pikmin 3 wont be arriving until 2013 and isn’t listed inside the “launch window” either.
