Sony announced a fair bit during their TGS 2012 conference and most of it revolved around the new look PS3 ‘super slim’ and the essentials range that’ll be joining them too. It also seems that Sony are planning to revamp the PS Store in the process too.

Spotted by TheSixthAxis on the Australian PS Blog update about the new PS CECH-4000, one line teases that a change is coming to the store.

As the AU store is actually the same as the EU store, this means that the entire EU store is likely to get an overhaul in October.

No details are given, but it seems that the update is planned to help make finding content even easier on the store.

“PlayStation Store for PS3 is set to get a new look from October 2012 too,” reads the post, “making it even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa.”
