The real Final Fantasy III didn’t launch outside of Japan until 2006, and even then it was a remake. Instead, outside players were given the fan-favourite Final Fantasy VI, only stamped as Final Fantasy III without being non-the-wiser. Eventually the real Final Fantasy III launched outside the country as a 3D remake for the Nintendo DS. That same remake is now finally bound for the PSP through Sony’s PlayStation Network. Set for a Septermber 25 release the game will feature the same visuals as it’s many other ports only switched to a 16:9 aspect ratio to suit the PSP’s leaner screen.
No price was given but expect pricing similar to the mobile versions (£10.99).
