Imagi Studios’ iOS and Android survival title Tmeple Run has hit an epic 100 million downloads, and to celebrate they’ve made it completely free to download for a little while.

“We never imagined that the game we were making and loved would be so well received around the world,” said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios. “The last year has been incredible for us, and we are grateful to fans of the game. We hope to be able to provide them with more entertainment from the brand for years to come.”

Since August 2011, over 10 billion sessions have been played equating to a mind-numbing 54,000 years spent playing the addictive mobile title. More interestingly, due to US download numbers, roughly 13% of the entire US population currently owns Temple Run.

If getting your hands on Temple Run for free wasn’t enough, you can now get also get every game that Imangi Studios released for free too!

The iOS version of Temple Run has also just got an update to improve it for retina displays, offers more achievements and the ability to enable or disable specific powerups.
