During today’s Gamescom 2012 presentations, Sony announced Killzone Mercenary.

Developed by Guerrilla Games, and is exclusive to Playstation Vita, Killzone Mercenary places you in the shoes of a mercenary in a world full of Helghast. Besides that not much more is known about the plot surrounding the game.

It is also clear that the PS Vita will have it’s touch features utilised to create some cinematic kills.

With the announcement we also got the first trailer, which is almost all live action. No release date was given.

Killzone Mercenary is set to release sometime in 2013.
