PlayStation Mobile, or as it used to be known as before its rebranding: PlayStation Suite, offers snack sized games to be played on your PlayStation certified android devices.
Games will be anchored to your PlayStation Network ID, meaning that games bought on PlayStation Mobile can also be played and continued from your Vita – providing you with an overall more seamless experience; allowing you to jump from one device to another whilst maintaining continual gameplay.
Using PSM will also give you access to the PSN store, which is a demand that has been yearned for, for a while and will now soon be met.
PSM will also provide a platform for new content and games to be created for Playstation Certified devices by third-party developers and publishers.
Asus and Wikipad are the latest brands to join Sony’s Certified PlayStation programe, meaning all of their handheld products will have access to PlayStation Mobile content – thus providing the Asus Google Nexus 7 with a rich catalogue of PS games to play.
PlayStation Mobile will start to be rolled out this Autumn.
