343 Industries and Microsoft have released a game trailer for Halo 4 that takes a rather quick look at what UNSC weapons we can expect to get our sweaty armour-clad hands around.

The series staples are back again, although this time with a redesign, so you can be sure that you’ll get the enjoyment of shooting a Magnum, Battle Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher Shotgun, Spartan Laser and the trusty Assault Rifle.

However, there are some exciting new additions to the UNSC arsenal, a rail-gun anyone? How about a single shot DMR (which looks more like a bolt action rifle from the future)? Perhaps you’d like to have a go with the Sticky Detonator, flinging explosives onto people or vehicles before blowing them sky high. Finally, the SAW is shown off, presenting itself as a rapid fire machine gun – akin to the SMGs of yore.

Whatever weapon you choose, it looks like Halo 4‘s human weaponry has you covered. We can’t wait to see what other technologies are going to be present.
