GTA V Viral Marketing Kicks Off

August 1st, 2012

The folks up in Edinburgh at Rockstar North have no qualms at poking fun at every aspect of American society for their Grand Theft Auto series, and it seems that the poking for Grand Theft Auto V may have already begun.

As spotted by TheSixthAxis, a new viral site and Twitter account for a mysterious Epsilon program has surfaced online, and it pokes the hell out of organised American cult religions.

It may seem like it could be a site generally making fun, but pay a visit over to the testimonials section and you’ll see confirmation that this really is the work of Rockstar – that or just check out the proper URL of the site (thanks Google Chrome).

TSA have also suggested seeing if the HTML title of the site is an anagram, however we can’t see one yet.

Seeing as news around GTA V has been relatively quiet since it’s announcement trailer – and mysterious omission from E3, and  the Take-Two conference call yesterday – it’s nice to see that things are picking up around the titile.
