The decision to include a Real Money Auction House in Diablo III may not have been everybody’s idea of a great addition, however for one player it’s proved to be something really rather superb.

Reported by PCGamesN, Reddit user WishboneTheDog – we’re hoping it’s the actual dog from that History inspired TV show – made a total of $10,000 by selling virtual items they had found or crafted in the game.

Wishbone says that he achieved such a feat without the help of exploits or mods, and provided Diablo III and PayPal screenshots to back up his announcement of making some serious money.

They then weighed in on the ecosystem found within Diablo III, mentioning that it’s slowing down due to item inflation from the lack of disappearing loot.

Of course, when PvP is introduced later on this could changed as people clamber over each other to attain the best armour and weapons on offer.
