Without wanting to insult someone who’s in hospital recovering: some people are really dumb.

The latest case of someone neglecting their lives and wellbeing because they became a little bit too into a video game comes in the form of a 15 year-old Ohio boy.

Reported by CBS, Columbus, Ohio resident Tyler Rigby played Modern Warfare 3 – a game he is too young to play - for four days straight before he was hospitalised for dehydration.

Rigby’s aunt Jennifer Thompson weighed in on the situation saying “it’s like he was looking at me but he wasn’t there. It was like he was looking through me.

“We were talking and I heard a thump and I looked over and he just fell.”

Understandably his mother, Jessie Rawlins, said that she was worried for his life.

“He just fell over three times,” she said.

Rigby is in hospital and is expected to be fine after being rehydrated for being an idiot. His mother says his Xbox will be confiscated – which might make him appreciate the art of balancing gameplay and living.
