It seems that the PS3 launch title, Metal Gear Solid 4 has finally getting retrofitted with those PS3 Trophies that PS3 gamers adore.
The news comes via Andraisang who report that Hideo Kojima revealed to Famitsu that a patch was on the way for the title.
The game will get a patch at some point, quite possibly to tie in with the launch of the budget release of the game in Japan. The boxed version of the budget release will include Trophy support, with users owning the standard game being able to download a patch for the title for free.
No more information on the patch has been detailed.
Kojima also teased that a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Event on August 30th will also hold some information about a new project he’s focusing on that is about connecting people. Apparently Peace Walker’s “Transfarring” system was a test for this vision.
