A Halo movie may not be coming, but the short TV series made for Xbox Live is in full swing and the first images have arrived.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn looks set to expand upon the brilliant acting seen in the intro sequence of the Halo 4 trailer and turn it into a live action series.

Below are the first few screens from the show, and they look like they’ve got quite high production values – thankfully this wont be a b-movie style space shooter that could have ended up like Starship Troopers.
