Actually, its a digital PC re-release as the original game hit PC around 1998, however this digital release gets some interesting extras packaged in too.
Whilst we already knew a Final Fantasy VII PC relaunch was on the cards thanks to an accidental early launch of the website, Square-Enix have confirmed its existence and even released some screens, wallpapers and a video to celebrate.
Available exclusively through the Square-Enix online store, this version will come with 37 achievements to unlock, as well as cloud saving (hopefully that pun was intended), and a perplexing – and somewhat game breaking – Character Booster feature to aid newcomers/those who can’t play the game.
