It appears if the roaring Kickstarter funded android console Ouya has just gotten another big tick from the gaming world with the announcement that Square-Enix are going to be bringing their biggest franchise to the console.
Final Fantasy III will release on the Ouya console alongside it’s March 2013 launch.
Somewhat perplexingly, the press release doesn’t give away much information. In fact it states that the game will be released as a “free-to-try demo version,” which makes it unclear if it’s also going to release as a full title or just as a tidbit for fans to whet their appetite with.
It will however feature full support for the Ouya console and it’s controller.
Square-Enix also say that they are “considering” bringing other titles to the console.
