Yesterday it was announced that Angry Birds Trilogy would be launching on PS3, Xbox 360 and 3DS, with each version having specific features to the console.
Today though, it has been revealed that these console creations of the first 3 identical Angry Birds games will be sold for a lot more than the poultry (sorry, couldn’t resist) price of the iOS games.
Activision, who are publishing the title, confirmed the price to USA Today, saying that the HD versions will retail at $29.99 for the 3DS and $39.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
This prices them at nearly six times the amount of the iOS games when bought together - which can be snapped up for $6, and are also in HD.
Granted, you can now use PS Move, Kinect and Street Pass on this trilogy release, but is that enough to entice people to buy the games, or indeed re-buy the games?
