NIS America is proud to announce that they will be the publisher for Way of the Samurai 4
The original publisher was going to be Xseed games, but now NISA will bring Way of the Samurai 4 to North America.

Way of the Samurai 4 will take place during the mid-19th century Japan as the Edo period is ending. Japan is now opening the doors to the world to bring in countless opportunities for the country. Players will be a masterless samurai looking to make a name for himself.
Way of the Samurai 4 will offer players to create their own customized character with multiple options of customization. Player will be cast into a power struggle between three groups: the shogunate pro-governmental forces, the nationalistic isolationist, and the foreign powers. It will be up to you on whom you side with and what to do in the end where honor is on the line.
Way of the Samurai 4 is exclusive to the Playstation 3 and set to release later this year in North America
Update: Sorry for the confusion and misunderstanding, the press release that we got from the official NISA PR never said what region they will be publishing. With E3 and all it is hard to get in contact with them at the moment.
To my knowledge, this is incorrect. NISA will be publishing the game for the EU. XSEED is still developing WotS 4 for NA.
They will be handling the publishing in the EU but, according to the press release which mentions no region – and usually delivers US only news – states they will be releasing WotS 4. Naturally this seems that they’ll be handling both EU and US distribution.
Europe’s publisher is still Rising Star Games, which published WotS3. All NIS games are not published by NIS or NISA. They are all outsourced to other publishers like Koei or Square as examples. There really isn’t a NISE, sadly.
The NISA press release was broad, but we will look more into it. Right now, with E3 and all most people will be busy and can’t get an anwer right away.
