It seems that finally Rovio are ready to move on from those perturbed budgies and branch out into a new IP.

Whilst nothing has been shown off, Rovio have launched a new teaser site with an accompanying video for a game they’re calling Amazing Alex.

It will boast “100 challenging levels” and features a young boy by the name of Alex who, with his “boundless imagination” turns “everything into an adventure.” The aim of the game seems to be puzzle solving and utilising chain reactions to get the job done.

It’ll also feature a level editing tool allowing you to create and share levels with friends utilising 35 different level components. More content is also promised.

If you ask us this all sounds very much like the PC puzzle series The Incredible Machine and Dr. Brain.
