Over on the official blog, Rockstar have today announced that they will be taking action against any cheaters in the game and sending them to what seems very like a prison system.

Rockstar said “anyone using these nefarious methods will be dealt with.” which brings an image straight to mind of a player being assassinated – but don’t worry, Rockstar are not going to such lengths. Any player that is found to have cheated in any way will be put into a multiplayer mode where they can only play against other cheaters. This means all the leader boards will be cleared up and will now actually mean something.

This is a really good way of dealing with cheaters and hackers, it’s a pity more game developers don’t do something like this.
