PopCap games have officially released a new update for Bejeweled Blitz IOS.

The new update will feature a brand new mode called, universal. Here are some of the features of universal mode:

• Game Center Leaderboards: Bejeweled Blitz now supports Game Center. See how you stack up against other worldwide Bejeweled Blitz players by day, week or all-time.

•  New and enhanced experience for players who don’t connect to Facebook:  All Bejeweled Blitz players, whether they connect to Facebook or not,  now have access to every Bejeweled Blitz feature, including Daily Spins, Rare Gems, multiple Boosts, and Stats. Non-connected players can even compete in weekly tournaments against their favorite PopCap^® characters.

• Updated Daily Spin boasts all new sounds and FX. Swipe the lever to test your luck!
