New Super Mario Bros. 2, which was announced during E3, has now been given a release date.
The title will launch in Europe on the 17th August, two whole days before it’s debut in the States on the 19th August.
It has also been revealed that it will contain paid DLC.
Iwata detailed during the Nintendo Direct event this morning that premium content would be released for the title that will include additional stages for the game’s Coin Rush mode.
The DLC will be developed by the same team after development on the title has been completed. Pricing will be revealed at a later date.
