The remastering of Max Payne’s classic debut underworld hunt may have launched on iOS devices even before the release of Max Payne 3, but Android users had to wait quite a bit longer – until now. In two days time (June 14th) users of the majority of higher-spec Android handsets and tablets will be able to gun their way through New York City either with their touchscreens or selected USB gamepads.

Max Payne Mobile will become available on the Android Market this coming Thursday with HD graphics and high-resolution textures for $2.99. The iOS version has been available on Apple devices for a the past few weeks.
