The final word on what is going on with the long awaited Team ICO project The Last Guardian has been given, and straight from Fumito Ueda’s mouth.
The ex-Sony designer has said that he is still working on the title despite having left the company to work contractually.
“It’s been business as usual. The only things that’ve really changed are the terms of my contract,” said Ueda to Kotaku.
When pressed for information about how far along the game is in development, Ueda said: ”I can’t really comment on the details.”
Last year Sony Worldwide studios brought in help from other in-house developers from across the world to work on the title, and due to the lack of appearance at E3 Sony explained it was down to “technical difficulties” and that the title “will ship when ready.”
