Ubisoft showed off the impressive Far Cry 3 during it’s E3 press conference, however it wasn’t until Sony’s conference that we got a glimpse at an entirely new addition to the series - four-player co-op.

Initially this four-player co-op seemed at odds with the series single-player story, however it seems that it will actually feature its own tale and have each of the co-op characters display their own reasons and tales for involving themselves in the carnage.

Going by the trailer below, this rag-tag band of soldiers, mercs and combatants from around the world are all brought together by the aim of revenge. Definitely looks interesting.
