When Nintendo announced that a 3DS XL would be on the way people were perplexed as to why a second thumbstick hadn’t been integrated into this new design.

Well, according to Andraisang a 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro is on the way to resolve that problem that Nintendo created themselves!

Now you can make the incredibly un-pocket friendly 3DS XL even bulkier and uglier by snapping on the snazzy oversized circle pad attachment. You’ll be the envy of absolutely no-one!

The details on the planned attachement were revealed in a Nintendo Q&A session with Famitsu.

During the Q&A it was also revealed that the 3DS XL will allow you to transfer data and download software from the 3DS to the XL. It’ll also work just fine with the stand that came with Kid Icarus Uprising, which is always nice to know.
