It seems players of the older Max Payne titles will seriously feel at home with Rockstar’s take on Max Payne 3. The covoted New York Minute difficulty setting featured as the final unlockable challenge of the past games and is set to return in this third release. The timed run-through of the campaign will reward players skilled enough to complete the harsh setting with bonuses for their multiplayer experience atop the already grand-scale of bragging rights available to those who best it.
Fabiana Branco, Passos and more will unlock as playable online avatars following successful runs of New York Minute and Score Attack modes against your Rockstar Social Club friends. Not only that but large wads of experience points await those eager to take on the challenge.
Score attack mode becomes available following each completed single-player mission. Here, you’ll be tasked with stringing together skillful kills and combos to rack up the points as you go along. Newcomers to the New York Minute setting will need to know that each mission then becomes a hectic 1-minute run n’ gun spree with each kill adding more time to the clock.
