After the fun, yet somewhat disappointing, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, fans of the series really wanted a brand new entry into the series that brought back the classic gameplay and free movement camera that the originals had.
Well, your prayers have been answered with the announcement of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (or Q-Force as it is known in Europe).
Produced as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, along with the HD Collection release of the PS2 classics, this new R&C title will release exclusively on the PS Store in North America, and will see a Blu-Ray release in Europe.
Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price promises that this is a complete return to the series’ classic feel, with camera, controls an weapons handling as you remember them, whilst also “innovating and giving you a whole new way to play.” Price also hints at the inclusion of multiplayer by stating “the addition of online features means you can experience Full Frontal Assault with your friends.”
No release date has been given as of yet, but more information will release over the “next couple of weeks.”
