Yesterday Bethesda teased a little game announcement, and whilst the accompanying image seemed to be of a grubby Nord – leading people to believe it was an announcement around Skyrim DLC – it was in fact of Dishonored‘s lead character Corvo.
Today then, Bethesda released the debut trailer for Arkane Studios’ latest game, Dishonored.
Taking place in a steam-punk world inspired by the plague and industrial revolution Britain, you take up the role of Corvo, a man who is on a quest to clear his name after he was accused of a crime he did not commit.
The trailer wonderfully shows off how you can use a set of powers at your disposal to navigate your way through this dystopian society and eliminate your foe how you choose. After our preview of the title back in August at Gamescom, we can safely say that the trailer really accurately shows just how you can interact with the world around you.
Dishonored releases on the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 later in 2012. In the meantime why not ogle some of the concept art or screenshots that have been released already?

I still feel weird about the stilt-police. Did stilts become cool when I wasn’t looking?
Stilts are cool Shawn, I’ve got mine on now.
