Neverland Co and their Harvest Moon spin-off have seen a lot of success both in and out of Japan, so it’s only natural for their series to get another major release. This time bound for the Nintendo 3DS, Rune Factory 4 is due to release in July of this year in its home country.
The spin-off series dove more into the RPG elements of the famous farming simulator games to branch out to their target auddience. Rather than concentrating on farm work, Rune Factory brough in a relatively simple story usually revolving around a boy suffering from amnesia who would take refuge in a town and take up work on their farm while exploring multiple dungeons and getting to know the citizens of the town enough to eventually marry the whichever girl he chose to get close to.
