The recently revealed list of PSN Vita titles and their respective costs went up today on the Playstation Blog, but thanks to some investigative work by SavyGamer it’s revealed that on average EU PSN titles are actually 17% more expensive than at retail.
This is of course not because Sony deliberately made it like that. Just like in Japan and the US the EU PSN Store offers discounts on many titles, and less on others, but because EU retail regularly sell below the RRP the games actually work out more expensive on average.
Here’s the list of price differences that SavyGamer came up with:
- Everybody’s Golf – £29.99 on PSN, £27.95 at The Hut.
- Little Deviants – £19.99 on PSN, £17.99 at Play.com.
- Modnation Racers: Road Trip £29.99 on PSN, £27.95 at Zavvi.
- Reality Fighters – £19.99 on PSN, £17.99 at Play.com.
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss – £39.99 on PSN, £34.85 at Shopto.

- Virtua Tennis 4 – £34.99 on PSN, £24.85 at Shopto.
- Asphalt: Injection – £19.99 on PSN, £17.99 at Play.com.
- Lumines Electronic Symphony – £29.99 on PSN, £22.97 at Coolshop.
- Rayman Origins – £29.99 on PSN, £23.98 at Coolshop.
- FIFA 2012 – £44.99 on PSN, £34.95 at The Hut.

- Dungeon Hunter: Alliance – £29.99 on PSN, £29.86 at Shopto.
- F1 2011 – £44.99 on PSN, £29.86 at Shopto.
Who knows if Sony will bother to change the prices, the third party titles are obviously priced by their respective publishers so they may decide to alter their prices.

That is just disgusting, and in America and other countries sony says its cheaper buying the downloaded game which is true
