Deep Silver have today announced that those who pre-order their upcoming pirate RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters will receive a DLC pack.

The DLC in question is a “Treasure Island” story arc. Here you’ll embark on an extra storyline quest to uncover Captain Steelbeard’s legendary treasure, and finally put a plot element from the original Risen to bed. The story revolves around Harlok, a cook on Steelbeard’s ship, who holds the secret clues that lead to the pirate captain’s hidden treasure.

The real crux of the extra content comes from a legendary item that is only available in the DLC, that offers your character a permanent stat boost.

This exclusive pre-order bonus DLC with a value of £8.00 / 800 Microsoft Points, will be made available in selected territories at participating retailers.
