As if you didn’t already know, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is by far the best game to grace this green earth in the last year, if not ever. What’s that? You’d like proof of its greatness? Well friends, look no further than the gaming bible that is Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.
For those who don’t know, Famitsu is the gaming magazine that people turn to for a gauge of how good something is. Famitsu get the biggest game reveals in the world, and they also give some of the harshest scores out there via a rigorous scoring process. The latest game to get its treatment has been Skyrim, and in a show of its sheer greatness, it received a beautiful 40/40 score, the first western game to ever achieve full marks.
As the game is reviewed by four separate critics and then scored individually to create a fair and even score, it shows just what a triumph Skyrim is for western developers. Not only is it the first western game to bag full marks, but it is also the 14th game ever to gain full marks too.
Maybe you should re-think why you didn’t pick up this gem of a title, that is if you were foolish enough to have avoided it!
