Square Enix has released new downloadable content for Dungeon Seige III.
Treasures of the Sun takes you past the boundaries of Ehb and into an entirely different area, the Aranoi Desert. Gamers will have to confront legions of enemies as they search for a long lost Legion hero, but along the way will find something else entirely – a forsaken abbey that harbors an incredible secret, the Azunite faith’s greatest treasure.
There are hours of new content available in the expansion, as well as several refinements to the systems and mechanics of DSIII. There will be new abilities (such as being able to obtain mastery of the arcane via new attack, defense and healing abilities), a higher level cap (previously capped at 30 but now raised to 35), more monstrosities that have never been seen before in the Aranoi Desert and with them more powerful items. Players will also be able to redetermine how their points are spent in Proficiencies and Talents, enabling the character customization. You can also transmute items with the new Enchanting system, letting you access new Vials to enhance your weapons and armor.
Dungeon Siege III: Treasures of the Sun is available for PC, Steam, Xbox 360 and PS3, for 800 Microsoft points for Xbox or $9.99 on PSN.
