Have you been trapped in Arkham City for the past few days? If so, there’s good news for you! POWER A Batarang controllers are available to make your stay complete.

Na Na Na Na Na! Batman!

A leader in creating game controllers and accessories, A POWER partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to release a controller in conjunction with the release of Batman: Arkham City. Fans of the video game and the comics alike will appreciate the design on the high-performance, collectible controllers – available for both PS3 and the Xbox 360.

Both controllers feature rubberized grips, dual rumble motors, as well as the ability to select from seven built-in LED colors to suit each user personally. In addition, it’s also wireless and has reverse analog sticks, plus motion sensing technology and an internal rechargeable battery. But it gets even better. Straight out of the Batcave, you also get a Batman USB RF receiver and USB charging cable. The Batarang controller for the Xbox 360 is a wired controller, with a 9.8″/3m inline release cable.

“Batman: Arkham City is one of the most highly anticipated games this holiday and POWER A is excited to deliver a Batarang controller at game launch that will give players the ultimate Arkham City experience,” said John Moore, vice president of  product development and marketing for POWER A. “We wanted to ensure that the Batarang controller was not only a great collectible, but also packed with features that will satisfy gamers and fans of the Caped Crusader.”

The Batman: Arkham City Batarang controllers are available at retail stores nationwide.

I’d be a lot more interested in it if the PS3 version were actually laid out like a PS3 controller, and if it used Bluetooth instead of yet another godawful proprietary IR receiver.

Er, RF receiver. You know what I mean.

Look pretty cool, but are they necessary?
Then again, rubberised grip is always welcome.

Nothing like this is ever really “necessary” but I’m sure that there are some hardcore Batman fanatics and collectors who would love to add this to their collection =) It’s scary how much some of those collections are worth

Hmmm, you’re right, I could’ve worded that better. And stuff like this is important to the right fan. I got the steelbook editon of Batman AC w/ the Jokers Carnival dlc included, thus, things like this are ‘necessary’ to the die hard fan. Silly me ;)

If they are anything like the Power A PS3 Wireless controller, then everyone (excluding true Batman fans) should stay away from them (dead zones, clunky buttons, etc.)…
