It seems that a trailer for Resident Evil 6 has showed up at Capcom’s booth at TGS and is said to be viewable only behind closed doors.
The trailer which is included below, gives us very little information besides coordinates for Canada, which has led many to believe that it will be the setting of the next title. It sort of gives me the feeling of the movie The Thing (which was in the ice frozen Alaska), it would add depth to the game if you had to keep from catching hypothermia wouldn’t it?
Capcom has yet to confirm this trailer, however it is hard to argue with this kind of evidence. The trailer was of course off screen and the Youtuber said “Jill and Leon are supposedly the heroes for this one.” One thing is for sure, typewriters are back in the series. Check out the teaser below.
Update: Capcom is completely denying this trailer and calling it a fake. It looks legit to us.

The graphics would have been poor because of the systems they initially released on. Resident Evil 1 was remade for the Gamecube and looked fantastic. Classic Resi games used a set camera in certain areas of the room while 4-5 used the command “Over the shoulder” 3rd Person perspective. As for the story, they all take place within each other. No matter what you think, Resi 4&5 connect with the ones you think are horrible.
Resident Evil was a celebrated survival horror game because it was genuinly scary. The recent ones are borderline pure action with a slight hint of creepyness. They are not the same.

It looks quite interesting so I could believe that the 6th game will finally be out…the true question is whether Albert Wesker will stay dead from the 5th or will he make an appearance…
Albert Wesker is dead. But he came from a line of scientifically created “Weskers” so an alternate Wesker will take his place. Sadly.
All the Wesker stuff went a bit far. I liked his sneaky little betrayal in the original. But his prolonged appearances and rivalry with Chris just got a bit boring. I liked his brief, random appearances from behind the scenes rather than his more direct, super-power filled scenes of 5.
