In a recent Twitter response to fan questions, Ed Boon may have just unofficially announced the next Mortal Kombat title.
The Tweet say’s:
“RT @OfficialRafaRIOIs it possible Story Mode DLC chapters 4 the 4 DLC Noobde: Possible? Yes. Probable? No. Story guys working on next game.”
Ed Boon also responded to another fan question in regards to whether or not the new Mortal Kombat game will be based off Mortal Kombat 4. His response was:
“Is the next Mortal Kombat gonna be based off Mortal Kombat 4? Noobde: We changed the timeline so probably not.”
So there you have it, it looks like the developers responsible for the new and very well received Mortal Kombat game is already hard at work in developing the next chapter in the series.
Mortal Kombat is now available worldwide for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
He was referring to the fact that the recent MK title has changed the timeline….he wasnt speaking of the next game.
