Today on August 9th 2010, Treyarch released a multiplayer teaser trailer for their upcoming title ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’. The full multiplayer trailer will not be released until September 1^st 2010. Treyarch gave everyone a small taste of what is to come for their title. So here is what I have seen in the trailer that people may or may have not seen and things that I like to point out.

In the beginning of the trailer, straight of the back you see a camcorder recording the event of what is about to take place.

This new camera feature looks pretty neat and I will talk about it more later. Other than that you will see some weapons named MK5 and the MP5K with a suppressor along with the score and team deathmatch on the bottom left. This all takes place around 0:00 seconds to 0:18 seconds.

Next on the plate is from 0:18 seconds to 0:30 seconds. First thing people will see is a 3 kill streak being noticed which is in a shape of a remote control toy car. After a few seconds of running you will see a rocket going up into the air which might have direct affect on the environment and more or less pushing the overall immersion of the multiplayer.

After looking at the pretty rocket going into space, the player just got a 4 kill steak which is in the shape of a care package or ammo drop. Does this mean that custom kill streaks might make a return? We just have to wait and find out.  A last we see a new weapon being tested out which is a crossbow with exploding arrows. This new weapon might be a terror on the battlefield along with the 5 kill streak being the shape of a missile.

Next is from 0:32 seconds to 0:35 seconds which will have the player using a ballistic knife that shoots out of a custom grip. Is this the answer to commando? After the player kills the first guy with the ballistic knife shot, the player backstabs the second person with two knifes.

Between 0:35 to 0:43, you will see a helicopter dropping a care package or a resupply drop along with a new weapon which looks like a FAMAS G2.

Between 0:43 to 1:00, the player is in a high-intense battle with other players using a weapon that looks like a M4A1 or an M16A1.(You guys choose on what gun it looks like)  It also looks like the semtex grenade comebacks in all its sticky glory.

Now people will see the Remote toy car being activated and using to kill two players and but, there is one more thing to be on the lookout for. The missile in the background that follows the Toy car is guide by a human player (maybe) so does this mean that there will be a personal guided rockets now. We just have to wait and find out.

From 1:01 to 1:12 you see the player again in an intense battle but, you do hear the over voice commander saying “Air strike inbound” This proves that there might be custom kill streaks. Also another thing that got my eye was an artillery strike type kill streak on the bottom right hand side along with an STG weapon on the left side (Where it shows people getting killed on your screen)

Finally, you see a sniper with an M21, that headshots the poor guy than gets killed by a rocket in the face. On the last few seconds of the trailer, you will see that the camera is really a recording device. This can mean a lot of things from making your own movies in private matches; record public room matches that show off your skills, and maybe uploading and sharing with friends. There can be many upon many things we can do with the camera.

Overall, this is what I have seen in the trailer, and what I noticed within it. If you see something that I don’t, post it in the comment box with the time it was shown and what it was.
