Skate Cubed
Yesterday EA released two new ‘Prodz Teamz’ Videos for there upcoming skateboarding sandbox game Skate 3, the sequel to 2009′s sequel to 2007′s Skate(get that?). The game is currently in development at EA Black Box – developer of the first two games – and will apparently ditch the San Vanelona setting of the previous titles and take place in an entirely new fictional city, Port Carverton. In addition the game will feature new tricks such as the darkside and underflip, new game modes designed to make tricks easier or harder to do and a new create-a-park system where players can build there own skate parks, much the same as in the Tony Hawk series. Thats not all though as these new vid’s show a co-op system where your friend’s characters can be invited into your game to help out in your single player story, at last that bizarre tag line makes sense. They also show off the online play which looks mighty fun I must say. The game doesn’t yet have a scheduled release date but is expected to be released in May this year.
